20th Annual Jim Turner High School Choral Festival

Winners of Vocal Competition Announced
Young Vocalists Winners Recital
Due to weather and road conditions, this concert has been cancelled.


            The most promising college and high school singers from the Midwest competed at the annual Kalamazoo Bach Festival Young Vocalists Competition.  Ten of the competitors will be showcased in the Young Vocalists Concert. The purpose of the competition and concert is to support and encourage the study and performance of vocal music. The winners will each perform one or two selections accompanied by piano.  The winners will receive their cash prizes at the free recital and a reception to meet the vocalists will follow.

Third Place: Edward Nunoo, University of Michigan
